Our Story — Why We’re One Family
We’re Samuel Alfaro and Noemi Moreno, husband and wife, and together with Samuel’s brother, Alex Alfaro, we founded One Family AutoCare.
Today, One Family AutoCare has grown to three locations serving Charlotte, Mint Hill, and Concord, NC, but our story started very differently.
Back in 2017, we opened a little tire shop in Miami, FL called ASAP Tires in the corner of a gas station. It was Samuel, Noemi, and our tire technician, Amilcar, working at the shop, with Alex supporting the business behind the scenes. We didn’t start with a big shop, a big team, or all the knowledge we have today. We simply started with what we had, worked hard, and trusted God with what came next.
And when we look back now, one thing stands out throughout our entire journey: God always placed the right people in our path at the right time.
One of those people was Carlos, owner of Edcar Tire & Auto Repair. He had a mechanic shop nearby and saw what we were trying to build. He took the time to teach us things we didn’t yet know. He showed us how to prepare estimates, helped train Samuel, and advised us on the equipment we would need to grow beyond tires.
With that knowledge, ASAP Tires became ASAP Cars & Maintenance, and we began offering many of the automotive services we provide today. Those first few years taught us so much and helped shape the way we run our shops today.
Then the pandemic came.
During that season, we made the decision to sell ASAP Cars & Maintenance and move to Charlotte, North Carolina…
A New Chapter in Charlotte, NC
We were leaving behind the business we had built and stepping into a new chapter. In many ways, it felt like we were starting over — but once again, God had already placed the right person in our path.
Our friend Epifanio, owner of James Tires on Albemarle Road, opened his doors and gave Samuel the opportunity to start doing alignments there. Later, he invited us to partner with him on a new location on Harris Boulevard.
In 2023, we opened that location as Fast Tires.
A few years later, Epifanio gave us the opportunity to buy his share of the business. For us, that was the opportunity we had been working and praying for.
In 2026, Fast Tires became One Family AutoCare.
Growing the One Family
We began this new chapter as One Family AutoCare with great joy, gratitude, and excitement for what was ahead. What we had prayed and worked toward for years was finally becoming a reality — and it was only the beginning.
That same year, we opened our second location on Albemarle Road in Charlotte. Then our family grew again when our family members Juan Lopez and David Moreno, who were already operating Paco’s Tires, joined the One Family AutoCare name in Concord, NC.
Today, what began with a little tire shop in the corner of a gas station has grown into three One Family AutoCare locations serving Charlotte, Mint Hill, and Concord, NC.
When we look at everything it took to get here, we know we didn’t build it alone. Along the way, God continued to place people in our lives who taught us, opened doors for us, trusted us, and helped us move forward.
But the name One Family means much more to us than having family members working together.
It’s a reminder of how we got here.
God has blessed us through people who treated us like family when they didn’t have to — people who believed in us, shared their knowledge, gave us opportunities, and helped us grow. We want our customers to experience that same kind of treatment when they walk into one of our shops.
We want to provide honest recommendations, quality work, and fair prices. We don’t want you to feel like just another repair order or invoice.
We want you to feel like family.
That’s why we’re called One Family AutoCare.
